In the Fall, students, parents and teachers gather to share ice cream and popsicles while the kids play. A fun time for all!
International Night
International Night is a very popular event at MR with many components: country table displays from over 30 countries, a fashion parade and talent show, and other community building aspects. Fall Family Fun Night
Our Fall Family Fun Night, Freaky Friday, was held on Friday, October 14th. There was a cupcake cafe and food from Chik Fil A and the students explored the science lab and danced to the tunes of a MR parent DJ. Fun time for all!
Dr. Seuss Night
Teachers, parents and school staff work together to bring Dr. Seuss and other stories to the children. Teachers read books to grades K-2. Dr. Seuss Night will be held on Thursday, March 1st from 6:30pm-7:30pm. Please join us!!
Thanksgiving Lunch
Families were invited to eat Thanksgiving lunch with their students at school on Thursday, November 17th. Please contact chair Debby Corry if interested in volunteering.

Staff Appreciation
PTA Chair Kari Govan coordinates purchases and presents gifts to MR staff members during the designated appreciation and recognition weeks during the school year.
Staff Breakfast and Luncheon
PTA Chair Krystal Ledford coordinates contributions and volunteers for the annual staff breakfast at the beginning of the school year and the staff luncheon at the end of the year. Please contact Krystal if you are able to donate food or volunteer.
Teacher Appreciation Week
PTA Chair Rachel Orndorff coordinates with room parents and volunteers to honor teachers and staff. Our PTA committee collaborates with the assistant principals to plan and execute a teacher breakfast, cookies and punch day, a car wash and to provide parent volunteers to help with the activities and functions offered by the administrative staff during the week.
