Family Movie Night / RESILIENCE: The Biology of Stress and Science of Hope
Fri., June 9, 6:00 – 8:30 pm  4031 University Drive Fairfax (Enter on South St.)
Children will enjoy a G-rated movie and snacks, supervised by skilled caregivers. Next door, parents and older youth will watch a movie that explores the connection between adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) how these experiences affect youth.  A panel discussion on building resilient families will follow. (light dinner served at 6 pm)

Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs)

Participants will learn the guidelines and best practices that apply to this state mandated process for children who have difficulty managing their behavior in home and school.
Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)

Participants will learn how to develop effective behavior intervention plans, how to collect and manage BIP data, and practical tips for strengthening relationships with their children.
