In a very exciting follow up to our ‘Jr. Robot Makers’ class, students will build and program a LEGO robots based using the popular LEGO Education WeDo 2.0 Kits. Students will tackle challenging exercises that sharpen both their building and programming skills. The LEGO Education WeDo 2.0 kits are built upon the Next Generation Science Standards (http://www.nextgenscience.org/) and are designed to enhance students’ curiosity and science skills. After programming the robot, kids will use the remaining 10-20 minutes of class to play with their robots. Time allowing, the class concludes with a group discussion of what was learned. LEGO® WeDo kits, laptop computers, software and all other supplies and materials will be provided.
