The PTA provides opportunities for parents, teachers, and staff to work together and create a community of caring adults that help our children to learn and grow.

The PTA is the place to share your ideas, learn about the school and students, work with your students’ class, learn more about MRES by attending PTA meetings, and having fun.

How much does it cost?

Annual Membership dues are:

  • $10 per MRES teacher or staff
  • $15 per parent, grandparent, or other individual
  • $25 per couple

Member dues support the annual PTA budget, which funds many events, student field trips, student scholarships, and supplemental support for curriculum materials and school technology.  PTA Membership is annual and needs to be renewed every school year. The dues include your access to the PTA-produced Marshall Road School Directory (if you would like to opt out your information from the directory, you will have a chance to do so before publication in the fall).  For teachers and staff, being a member offers you the additional benefit of eligibility for professional development and project grants from the PTA.

Membership fees are not tax-deductible.  Membership envelopes are available in the Main Office, and will come home with your child during the first week of school.  You may pay by check or cash using the Membership envelope.  You may also pay with your credit card by going through the National PTA website. You may join online starting August 1, 2018.
